Book of Genesis, Chapter Egg
It all starts with an egg, but catching the little bugger isn’t always as easy as it sounds. Some women need only be looked at sideways to fall pregnant and others run the gauntlet a thousand times before getting any result.
Until you begin trying to conceive you most likely will not know which category you fall into. And, once you do embark on the journey, it can be a crazy ride. Conceiving a baby is the most amazing experience but it is also an overwhelming one. Once you make the decision to get knocked up it’s all down hill from there. Kidding! The road IS a bumpy one though.
Getting pregnant can be complex. There are so many questions to ask, so much information to know, and *smirk* so much lovin’ to do! That’s the fun part, store it in the memory bank for dredging up 40 weeks later when you’re wondering what the hell you were thinking when you opened your uterus for business.
Take my word for it, pregnancy is an amazing journey and becoming a mum is just about the greatest thing since sliced bread. BUT, and this is a big but, you’ve got some work to do first!
If you want to conceive, you'll want to go about it the right way. Your body is about to undergo a drastic change - it’s going to morph into a mama! You’re going to be stretched, inflated, deflated, torn, zipped and left balding (it could happen to YOU, take it from the horse’s mouth). Of course you might be among the bitches, I mean... lucky women who go through pregnancy unscathed, but either way your body needs preparing. If you want to conceive a healthy baby, consider yourself in training! It’s time to get that body ready for growing a baby!
You’ll also with out a doubt find it helpful to understanding the conception process. With that in mind, and assuming that at this late stage in the game you’re up on the birds and the bees, it’s time for a refresher course…
